Meet the Artist

Florence Mytum Ceramics was founded by British artist Florence, who uses her background as a sculptor to design and create bold, colourful and tactile ceramics. After completing her MA from the Slade School of Fine Art in 2018 she built a career as an installation artist before launching Florence Mytum Ceramics in 2020. Florence Mytum Ceramics celebrate colour, texture and form. From wiggle mugs, to sculptural vases and playful platters, their pieces are designed to be ergonomic yet artistic; both decorative and functional. Each piece is individually handmade in East London and fired in the kiln up to 1240 degrees. These pieces are for those daring to defy a homogenised interior of mass-produced products, and invest in joyful, distinctive and handcrafted pieces for their homes.
